Houston Museum of Natural Science Location: 1 Hermann Circle Dr. Depending on where you are in respect to the METRORail, you can board at the Memorial Hermann/Houston Zoo rail stop and exit at the Hermann Park/Rice U rail stop; walk on the sand trail to your left, and you will see the museum when you approach the circle driveway. To receive free admission a valid undergraduate Rice ID must be presented. Your undergraduate Rice ID also qualifies you to recieve the "member rate" on special exhibits. All Rice community members (undergraduates, graduate students, faculty & staff) can take advantage of this discount flyer. Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park Location: the corner of Bagby and Lamar Streets The Heritage Society is the city's only outdoor, interactive historic museum and park. Nestled in 10 acres of beautiful green parkland in the heart of downtown Houston, The Heritage Society boasts 9 historic structures dating from 1823 to 1905. To obtain your complimentary one year "Individual" Membership, just complete the online membership form and provide your Rice Student ID number where payment information is requested.

MacGregor or Sunset Blvd. intersection and exit the bus at Bissonnet Street; the museum is located on your left. Menil Collection Location: 1515 Sul Ross St. Board the 34 Montrose/North Loop bus on the medical center side of the street at the N. MacGregor or Sunset Blvd. intersection and exit the bus on W. Alabama Street. You have the option of walking 5 blocks left to Mulberry Street or boarding the 78 Alabama/Greenway Plaza bus. Walk 1 block left on Mulberry to Sul Ross Street.
Holocaust Museum Location: 5401 Caroline St. Board the UH–Downtown METRORail at either the Memorial Hermann/Houston Zoo or Hermann Park/Rice U rail stop and exit at the Museum District rail stop; walk 1 block left on Binz Street then left 1.5 blocks on Caroline to Prospect Street.
Children's Museum of Houston Location: 1500 Binz St. Board the UH–Downtown METRORail at either the Memorial Hermann/Houston Zoo or Hermann Park/Rice U rail stop and exit at the Museum District rail stop; make a right on Binz Street and walk 3 blocks to La Branch; museum is on the corner of La Branch and Binz Streets. *$5 per person/Free Thursdays 5–8
