CIC Student Care Packages

Greetings from the Community Involvement Center! Are you looking for the perfect way to recognize or thank a colleague or student? You're invited to order one of the CIC's Care Packages for a student, faculty, or staff member. Care Packages are $25.00 each and can be ordered for the final spring delivery date of April 24. Students will receive notification through their residential college (and faculty/staff through their department) that they have received a Care Package and may pick it up at the Community Involvement Center.

All proceeds from the sale of Care Packages will help fund Alternative Spring Breaks advised by the Community Involvement Center. Each year dozens of students dedicate their Spring Break to serving communities in need, including this year's sites in Mexico (3), New York, California, Missouri, Mississippi, and Nicaragua. The Community Involvement Center Care Package contains snacks (some healthy and tasty, others just tasty) to help sustain the recipient through hours of studying and other activities. It comes in a nylon mesh backpack imprinted with the Rice University academic seal, that can be used again and again. Your Care Package will include:

SmartPop Microwave Popcorn, Juicy Fruit Gum, Snickers Bar, Plain M&Ms, Planters Cashews, Famous Amos Cookies, David Sunflowers, Snyders Pretzels, Austin Animal Crackers, Big Red Gum, Nature Valley Granola Bar, Handi Snacks (Cheese & Cracker), Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Fruit Snacks, Sunkist Pistachios, Chex Mix, Combos, Kudos, Planters Peanuts, Mentos, Cracker Jack, Bic Highlighter, and Papermate Pens (2)

Care Packages may be ordered by individual and paid for by credit or debit card on-line at the Community Involvement Center web site(http://www.rice.edu/service) or departments may contact me to arrange for payment by IDT for multiple orders. The deadline for ordering Care Packages for the semester's final delivery date (April 24) is 5:00pm on April 16. Thank you for your support!
