Da Camera of Houston's Chamber Music and Jazz Concerts

Da Camera of Houston concerts offer leading American and international musicians performing a broad range of repertoire and musical styles to attract new listeners to the concert hall. Undergraduate students can purchase $5 tickets to all Da Camera of Houston performances during the 2009-10 academic year with a valid Rice student identification card. Purchase tickets in advance at the Da Camera box office located at 1427 Branard St., Houston, TX 77006 or on the night of the performance beginning at 6:30 PM at the Wortham Center and within 1 hour prior to the performance at the Menil Collection. One ticket per student ID. The $5 ticket discount is subject to availability.

Houston Ballet

Founded in 1969 under the direction of Nina Popova, a former dancer, the Houston Ballet has become an internationally acclaimed ballet company which is now America's fifth largest and supplies over 40 percent of the company's dancers. At select performances, students may purchase rush tickets for $10.00 in the 90 minutes prior to the start of the performance, depending upon availability as determined by management and excluding seats in both Founders Boxes and Loge Boxes. Student rush tickets are available for select performances during Houston Ballet's regular subscription season.
