Rice University's distinctive commitment to undergraduate education includes enabling undergraduates to identify goals for personal achievement and to develop educational plans that realize those goals. The mission of the Office of Academic Advising is to foster a campus environment that enables undergraduate students to successfully develop and implement personalized academic plans. We believe in facilitating meaningful student–advisor relationships and in developmentally increasing student independence throughout the undergraduate experience.
